Reading at home guidance for parents:
All children have been given just the yellow Home Response Book to take home.
In these, all children are expected to complete one of the challenges at least once a week.
Parents do not have to write in the yellow home reading response book unless you want to.
However, if your child has been given a green lower school or purple upper school Reading Record, we ask you the parents, to help us by writing a comment each time you hear them read.
School will award all children a stamp or initial in one of the crowns for every 5 reads.
